Summary:
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Administrator with a strong foundation in PeopleSoft and Oracle Database, combined with growing or established strengths in infrastructure and DevOps practices.
This role is evolving beyond traditional PeopleSoft administration into a platform-focused position, with responsibilities spanning performance optimization, deployment and release management, infrastructure collaboration, and cross‑team enablement. The ideal candidate can bridge classic ERP administration with modern DevOps concepts and is motivated to grow into release and deployment ownership.
Responsibilities:
Administer and support PeopleSoft platforms, including upgrades, migrations, and deployments
Manage code migrations and releases within a database‑driven architecture
Analyze system and database performance; identify and implement optimizations
Support Oracle DB–backed PeopleSoft environments, including reporting and dashboards
Partner with infrastructure teams on load balancing, resiliency, and BCP
Support Linux-based environments, including shell scripting
Handle certificates / SSL renewals and reliability monitoring
Provide knowledge transfer and ramp up platform support teams
Progress over time into release and deployment ownership

PeopleSoft & Application
Hands-on experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator
Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and PeopleTools
Experience with:
PeopleSoft Application Designer
Change Assistant (migrations and upgrades)
Data Mover
Experience applying PeopleTools patches (e.g., Tuxedo, WebLogic)
Understanding of how PeopleSoft data is structured and related (CRM-like systems)
Database & Performance
Working knowledge of Oracle Database supporting PeopleSoft
Ability to:
Analyze database structures
Improve performance and scalability
Support reporting and dashboard optimization
Understanding that PeopleSoft code resides in the database
Infrastructure & DevOps
Strong Linux experience, including shell scripting
Understanding of:
Load balancing concepts
Datacenter resiliency
Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
Experience with:
SSL / certificate management
Monitoring and reliability tools
Tooling & Automation
Working knowledge of:
Git / GitHub
Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
Exposure to:
uDeploy (preferred)
Liquibase (nice to have)
Experience with ticketing systems:
Jira
ServiceNow or equivalent
