Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Crimes Policy & Governance Consultant to support the review, maintenance, and enhancement of international financial crimes policies and procedures. This role will partner with stakeholders across compliance, risk, and financial crimes functions to ensure documentation aligns with regulatory expectations and enterprise standards. The ideal candidate brings strong policy governance experience, financial crimes knowledge, and the ability to drive complex remediation and documentation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Review, rationalize, and maintain international financial crimes policies, procedures, and supporting documentation.
Support policy updates to ensure alignment with regulatory and enterprise requirements.
Conduct gap assessments and assist with remediation efforts.
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve documentation processes.
Coordinate stakeholder reviews, feedback, approvals, and document governance activities.
Analyze complex financial crimes and compliance-related challenges requiring evaluation of multiple factors.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support large-scale financial crimes initiatives and deliverables.
Ensure adherence to applicable policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
5 years of experience in Financial Crimes, Compliance, Operational Risk, Audit, Policy Governance, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, or related fields.
Knowledge of AML, BSA, Sanctions, and other financial crimes programs.
Experience developing, reviewing, and maintaining policies and procedures.
Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and document governance activities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
Experience supporting international financial crimes programs. (preferred)
Knowledge of global regulatory requirements and expectations. (preferred)
Experience with policy remediation initiatives, regulatory exams, or audit support. (preferred)
Ability to analyze complex compliance issues and recommend process improvements.
