Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Infrastructure Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Infrastructure Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications: 5 years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As we expand our footprint, we are looking for a high-caliber AV & Collaboration Engineer. They will be a core member of the global engineering team focused on product/ technology evaluation, design, and leading deployments. They will act as a technical authority in-region driving the adoption of next generation workplace technologies while ensuring local deployments meet global standards. This is not a traditional support role – they will be a core member of the global engineering team while also leading regional deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technology Evaluation & Innovation
Partner with the global AV & Collaboration engineering team to evaluate emerging conference room and workplace technologies.
Design and execute proof-of-concept (PoC) testing in regional lab environments to validate performance, security, and network compatibility.
Lead regional pilot deployments, collecting user feedback and technical metrics to inform and refine global AV standards.
Act as a regional technical authority for next-generation workplace collaboration tools.
2. Design, Standards & Engineering
Collaborate on the creation of standardized AV “building blocks” for multiple space types (huddle rooms, meeting rooms, training spaces, executive boardrooms).
Develop, maintain, and review technical documentation including:
Signal flow diagrams
Wiring schematics
Configuration and commissioning guides
Ensure all regional deployments adhere to global AV, networking, security, and aesthetic standards.
Translate architectural drawings into deployable AV system designs.
3. Deployment Execution & Delivery
Lead or heavily support the deployment of new AV and collaboration spaces, from single room builds to large-scale rollouts (hundreds of rooms).
Partner with business stakeholders to scope requirements, select equipment, and manage installation activities.
Validate completed builds through testing, commissioning, and user acceptance.
Support remediation, cleanup, and stabilization of legacy or inconsistent AV deployments.
4. Regional Technical Leadership & Escalation
Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex AV and collaboration issues beyond standard operational troubleshooting.
Provide engineering-level guidance and problem resolution for systemic or recurring issues.
Act as the technical liaison between internal teams, AV integrators, manufacturers, and vendors.
Ensure integrators and vendors deliver projects in accordance with engineering specifications and standards.

Technical Expertise
Deep hands-on expertise in enterprise AV systems and collaboration environments.
Strong knowledge of:
Video conferencing systems and AV-over-IP architectures
Audio DSP concepts and tuning
AV control systems
Advanced experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) and/or Zoom Rooms, including backend management and configuration.
Proficiency with Cisco Control Hub and Cisco Call Manager.
Experience deploying and supporting:
Professional-grade DSPs
PTZ cameras
Beamforming microphones
Large-format displays and/or active LED video walls
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, AV schematics, and signal flow diagrams.
Implementation & Engineering Skills
Proven hands-on deployment experience; background with an AV integrator or large enterprise environments strongly preferred.
Ability to balance execution-focused work with engineering oversight and standards development.
Strong troubleshooting skills across AV, UC, and integrated networked environments.
Networking fundamentals (multicast, VLANs, QoS) considered a strong plus.
