Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Systems Operations Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Systems Operations Engineering deliverables. We are seeking an experienced technical professional to provide day-to-day functional and production support for a regulated archiving and compliance platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in operational environments that require precision, strong documentation practices, and strict adherence to compliance and audit standards.
You will work closely with technology, engineering, and compliance partners to support system stability, resolve production issues, and drive automation initiatives that reduce manual operational effort.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver daily operational and functional support for the bank’s archiving and compliance platform.
· Support remediation, regulatory, and audit-driven initiatives.
· Monitor system health, investigate issues, and conduct root cause analysis in a production environment.
· Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes.
· Maintain detailed documentation and operational records to satisfy compliance standards.
· Partner with engineering teams to automate manual, repetitive processes.
· Contribute to cloud migration, modernization, and reliability engineering initiatives.
Technical Responsibilities & Skills
Reliability, Automation & SRE
Experience with SRE concepts or operational automation.
Strong PowerShell scripting for automation and operational efficiency.
Ability to identify and eliminate manual workload through automation.
Application & Middleware
Working knowledge of Java-based applications and testing fundamentals.
Experience supporting Tomcat or similar Java application servers.
Databases & Data Management
Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.).
Experience supporting database-driven applications and decentralized admin functions.
Familiarity with Liquibase or similar database change‑management tools (preferred).
Reporting & ITSM
ServiceNow experience for incident tracking and workflow management.
Power BI experience for operational or compliance reporting (preferred).
Qualifications

Proven experience supporting enterprise-grade applications in production.
Strong troubleshooting across applications, databases, and infrastructure layers.
Experience working within highly regulated and compliance-driven environments.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective collaborator able to work with technical, compliance, and business teams.
Archiving, compliance, or regulated communications platforms. (Preferred)
Participation in cloud transformation or modernization initiatives. (Preferred)
Experience with SRE or operations-to-engineering transition models. (Preferred)
