Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher (Part-Time)
Starting Pay: $14.16 per hour

Well-Spring, a Life Plan Community, is looking for a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher to join our Dining Services team. This role is essential in supporting daily kitchen operations and helping deliver a positive dining experience for our residents.

Position Summary
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a key support role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. This position contributes directly to resident satisfaction through teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to service excellence.

Schedule
Flexible availability required, with a preference for:

• Morning shifts (starting at 8:30 AM) – primary need
• Some afternoon/evening availability (4:30 PM – 9:00 PM)
• Monday–Sunday, schedules may vary based on department needs
• Must be able to work at least 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Follow oral and written instructions accurately
• Maintain clear communication with team members regarding resident needs
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment
• Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organized
• Assist with food preparation and staging prior to meal service
• Stock and rotate inventory using FIFO (first-in, first-out) method
• Transport food carts, supplies, and equipment as needed
• Complete daily cleaning tasks and follow safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with training new staff and participate in department meetings
