As an infant teacher at Weigelstown Child Care, LLC, you will play a vital role in shaping the early learning experiences of young children. Located in a supportive environment, you will foster creativity, curiosity, and help develop young minds during infancy.
We are looking for someone to work part time Monday through Friday 12:30pm-5:30pm. This candidate will cover the break of the head teacher and close the infant room. In between covering the break and closing the infant room, this candidate will work with other kids in the center where needed. Specialized training will be provided for the infant room.
Responsibilities
- Implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood development.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
- Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and needs.
- Feeding and napping infants.
- Cleaning classroom and changing diapers.
- Following curriculum and logging infants' daily routines.
Requirements
- Experience working with young children is essential.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive environment for all students.
Must Have
- 2,500 hours documented working with infants
- Four PA state clearances (FBI Fingerprinting, NSOR, State Police, Child Abuse)
- Work physical with negative TB test
