What You Will Do
- Increase the company’s efficiency and effectiveness by maintaining financial organization and tracking of electrical projects
- Create and communicate company standards for estimating electrical design/build and plans and specs work
- Create, maintain and upgrade the company estimating system, database (units and prices) and assemblies
- Manage assigned projects from start to completion
- Organize information so the Project Managers can purchase materials directly from data generated in AccuBid
- Prepare permits, project schedule, PO buyouts, project strategy, submittals, shop drawings, budget and schedule of values for project start up
- Maintain daily affairs to stay within budget, address change orders, and prepare billing with project teams
- Maintain project organization and tracking to include subcontractor performance, material tracking, and coordination of submittals by other trades
- Execute project close out including preparation of O & M manuals, review/submission of as-built drawings
- Demonstrate and embrace our company values, our PACT: People, Advance Process, Community, and Trusting Relationships
- Minimum of 3 years’ project controls/coordination experience and/or electrical estimating experience
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of the electrical industry
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a diverse, dynamic, and fast-paced environment
- Excellent computer skills; Highly competent in MS Office suite, Accubid, Visio, and CAD and capable of learning quickly
- Motivation, detail orientation, and a refusal to accept second best
