To excel as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Wee Care Corp, you must embody a unique blend of skills and qualifications. A strong motivation to make a positive impact in the lives of others is essential, as you will support individuals in reaching their full potential. You'll need to possess or be able to obtain a Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance to ensure the safety of those you care for. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license will be critical for your role, as you may transport clients to various activities. A flexible schedule is necessary, primarily available after school, during evenings, and on weekends.

Essential certifications, including CPR and First Aid, along with Article 9 and an Introduction to Developmental Disabilities certificate, are part of the training required. Experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred, and the ability to promote self-esteem and advocate for our members will help you succeed in this compassionate role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Possess or be able to obtain a Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance
• Reliable transportation
• Valid drivers license
• Flexible Schedule - Primarily available after school evening and weekend hours
• Possess or be able to attend training for:
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Article 9 certification
  • Introduction to Developmental Disabilities certificate
