This position is ideal for an HR professional looking to deepen experience in HR operations, systems, compliance, and process improvement. The Human Resources Coordinator supports the full spectrum of People Success operations, ensuring accurate data, compliant processes, and exceptional employee experience. This role manages critical HR administrative workflows, maintains employee records and HRIS data integrity, and provides day-to-day support to employees and leaders. The coordinator also partners with the People Operations team on compliance, HRIS, Benefits, wellness, and departmental initiatives.

What you’ll do:
- Provide daily administrative support across People Success functions, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, compliance, employee relations logistics, and training coordination.
- Maintain accurate and complete employee records, including I-9 verification, document retention, digital file audits, training records, government-required documentation, and HRIS data accuracy.
- Process and track leaves of absence, including FMLA and LOA, workers’ compensation claims, unemployment requests, and other employee-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
- Support learning and development of recordkeeping and administration, including tracking required training, completions, certifications, and maintaining accurate records in HR systems.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, benefits enrollment coordination, exit documentation, and day-one readiness. Support communication with new hires, including introduction to career pathing resources and the new hire training plan. Ensure clear handoff and accountability between People Success and the hiring manager for ongoing onboarding, training, and role integration. Serve as a backup host for New Hire Orientation and provide day-one support as needed.
- Serve as a first-line resource for employee questions related to policies, benefits, HRIS navigation, and general People Success inquiries; escalate more complex matters to the People Operations Leader or People Success leadership as appropriate.
- Prepare, distribute, and track People Success communications, including policy notices, compliance documents, verification letters, onboarding communications, and employee notices.
- Execute approved internal People-related communications by posting and distributing HR content across internal channels (intranet, TVs, digital signage, and in-facility postings). Support coordination and distribution of communications for onboarding, engagement, recognition, and People initiatives. Maintain communication trackers and calendars as needed.
- Support People Operations initiatives including wellness programs, recognition efforts, compliance audits, employee engagement surveys, government reports and surveys, compensation analysis, and culture-building activities.
- Maintain and organize electronic People Success files, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency; regularly audit and clean up records to keep systems up to date.
- Ensure all People Success processes comply with federal, state, and local employment laws as well as internal policies.
- Assist with scheduling, logistics, reporting, and communications for People Success Projects.
- Manage New Hire Experience Surveys: Design, distribute, and track engagement surveys at key milestones (30, 60, and 90 days) to assess onboarding effectiveness and employee satisfaction. Compile feedback and share actionable insights with HR leadership for continuous improvement.
Who you are:
- Working knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, employee lifecycle processes, and recordkeeping requirements
- Strong attention to detail, organization and time management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
- Experience with SharePoint preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment
- Standard office activities experience, including prolonged sitting or standing, keyboarding, attending meetings, and interacting with employees.
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally work extended hours or weekends as business needs require.
What you’ve done:
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
- 1–3 years of HR operations, HR administration or related experience (HR department experience preferred)
