What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Clerk position at Wedgewood Pharmacy LLC?
The Pharmacy Clerk is responsible for any non-technician duty related to sterile compounding functions including sterile inventory, sterilizing equipment/supplies and quality inspections of finished goods and environmental monitoring samples.
When will you work?
The hours for this position are Monday - Friday.
What you'll do:
- Read and comply with policies and procedures for Wedgewood Pharmacy, Bakersfield, applicable
- Wedgewood Pharmacy cross-site SOPs, as applicable to position.
- Comply with federal and state pharmacy laws.
- Comply with USP <795>, <797> and <800>, as applicable to position.
- Operate a computer and learn relevant software applicable to position.
- Operate equipment and maintain inventory supply to ensure sterile compounding production is without delay.
- Inspect finished good inventory based on quality specifications. Report findings to the quality and sterile compounding teams.
- Inspect environmental monitoring growth plates and report findings to applicable teams/supervisor(s).

- Ability to think and act independently while knowing when to include others in decisions
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and timeline-driven environment with shifting priorities
What you've done:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Worked in a fast-paced environment and followed specific instructions or procedures
