Providence Preschool Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team at Providence Elementary School. This full-time position is designed for individuals who are committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and be able to create engaging learning experiences that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues to support student growth and development
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help each child reach their full potential
• Incorporate a variety of teaching methods, including play-based learning, hands-on activities, and group projects
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate school-wide events and activities
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials and resources are readily available
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification or license in early childhood education preferred
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and families
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for teaching young children
