PROJECT SUPPORT ANALYST
Location: Rosemead, CA (Hybrid – Must reside in Los Angeles County; Onsite 2 days/week required)

Department: Grid Computing Organization (GCO) / Grid Data Center (GDC) Support
Reports To: Program/Project Manager, Grid Computing
Compensation Range: $80,000–$90,000 (Base Salary, DOE)
Work Hours: Standard business hours (with occasional flexibility)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Support Analyst plays a key coordination and documentation role within the Grid Computing Organization (GCO), supporting the Grid Data Center (GDC) intake workflow, project onboarding, procurement tracking, RAID management, meeting facilitation, and project documentation.
This position is responsible for ensuring timely project intake, maintaining accurate data and documentation repositories, and supporting technical and operational review committees. The ideal candidate will be highly detailed, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving hybrid environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Grid Data Center Intake Coordination
- Facilitate and manage the GDC Intake Process from initial request to completion.
- Review project schedules, confirm prioritization, identify dependencies, and ensure readiness for intake.
- Coordinate incoming project timelines with GCO and stakeholder teams.
- Provide weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc intake status updates to leadership.
2. RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions) Management
- Maintain and update the GCO RAID Log with high accuracy and timely entries.
- Track action item owners, due dates, mitigation plans, and decision outcomes.
- Escalate overdue or high-priority items to leadership.
3. Technical Review Committee Support (TDRC)
- Support and coordinate Build, Configuration, and Technical Design Review Committee (TDRC) activities.
- Facilitate Environmental Design Specification (EDS) document submissions, routing, approvals, and communication with committee members and impacted teams.
- Schedule technical review meetings, capture minutes, key decisions, risks, and distribute to appropriate stakeholders.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Capture critical meeting outcomes, decisions, discussion points, and action items; distribute meeting summaries promptly.
- Generate intake metrics, reports, dashboards, and tracking documentation for management review.
- Collect, store, and maintain all project artifacts in support of compute, network, and cybersecurity build activities.
5. Procurement & Material Tracking
- Support administrative procurement activities, including documentation collection and submission of procurement requests.
- Track material orders, confirm forecasted costs, and coordinate with the Material Ordering Group.
- Receive and log information into the GDC Material Database (vendor details, PO numbers, installation data, and other identifiers).
- Maintain transparency and accuracy of all procurement-related data.
6. Systems & Tools Administration
- Manage and update the Project, Portfolio & Workflow System (PPW) for tracking incoming GDC project assignments.
- Support PPW metrics and dashboard preparation for leadership.
- Maintain SharePoint project sites/repositories, ensuring documentation accuracy and version control.
- Track project dependencies, prioritization, and intake pipeline updates.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience
- Minimum 5 years creating and maintaining project logs, documents, records, schedules, or databases for monitoring project progress, costs, or resource status.
- Demonstrated expertise building reports, analyzing data, reconciling information, and maintaining accuracy.
- Experience coordinating procurement or material tracking using SAP transactional codes.
- Experience submitting access requests and technical consults using Remedy or similar enterprise ITSM systems.
- Background in data center, infrastructure, or technical project coordination strongly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including:
- Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, charting, formula logic)
- PowerPoint
- Word
- Access or similar database tools
- Experience with SharePoint site management and document repository systems.
- Experience with project portfolio/workflow platforms (e.g., PPW or PMO systems).
Soft Skills
- Exceptional organization and documentation accuracy.
- Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- High professional integrity, reliability, and discretion.
Other Requirements
- Must reside in the Los Angeles area.
- Must be able to work on-site in Rosemead, CA at least 2 days per week.
- Reliable transportation required.
