Job Summary/Basic Function
Will assist in all duties in the Costume Studio including: cleaning, organization of costume closet, construction of costumes (sewing, cutting, patterning, dying, etc.), costume crafts (hats, shoes, specialty items), fittings, aide to practicum students working in the studio, and anything else required to meet the show deadlines. Note: May be required to work some late nights and Saturdays.

Required Qualifications
Theater Majors required.
Must have 1 year of sewing experience.
Must know how to work a sewing machine and construct clothing items with minimal assistance. Must be willing to learn more about the construction process and show improvement. Must be willing to organize and clean. Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

Physical Requirements of this position

Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision.
