Weber Gallagher is seeking a highly-skilled and experienced attorney to join our firm as a Partner in the civil defense litigation group in our Philadelphia office, working on a broad range of general liability litigation matters including casualty litigation experience (personal injury, motor vehicle, etc.) in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and possibly Delaware .

Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution.
- Oversee and contribute towards case strategy.
- Draft pleadings, answer written discovery, take depositions, and participate in arbitrations and trials.
- Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and expert witnesses.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to develop sound case strategies.
- Communicate with clients, the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel.
- Provide regular and timely updates to clients on case status, strategy, and potential outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with partners, associates, and legal staff, and provide mentorship to junior attorneys.
- Manage cases while adhering to billing and budget requirements.
- Build and foster strong client relationships.
- Ability to travel for court, client meetings, etc.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule from our Philadelphia office.
- 9 years of experience, preferably in casualty litigation.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- PA and NJ bar license, active and in good standing, required; DE bar license also a plus.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Have experience drafting pleadings, answering written discovery, leading depositions and handling mediations.
- Have experience with arbitrations and/or second-chair trial experience.
- Have experience in premises liability, general liability, product liability, personal injury, motor vehicle, property damage, construction and labor law, and insurance defense.
- Have excellent academic credentials as well as strong research, writing, organization, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven track record of success in courtroom appearances, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
