Duties
- Operate heavy construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and to perform excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks.
- Safely drive commercial trucks, including utility vehicles, to transport materials, equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Assist with construction work by locating underground utilities using specialized equipment and following federal safety regulations.
- Perform construction grading and excavation activities with precision to meet project specifications.
- Follow all equipment safety procedures and safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, or similar equipment in a construction setting.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures.
- Ability to perform construction utility work, including utility locating, excavation, , and grading tasks.
- Construction experience with reputable companies or projects demonstrating reliability and skill in heavy equipment operation.
