Facilities Maintenance Tech / Mechanic - $22 to $25 Per Hour

Our Facilities Maintenance Tech makes a range of $22 to $25 per hour to start based on experience and work history. Our Facilities Maintenance Tech must be reliable with a top notch work ethic. If you’re looking to handle a variety of tasks with no one day like the other – then this is the job for you! Duties for this position include repairs, inspection, preventative maintenance and cleaning of forklifts and other company equipment, creating and maintaining an organized documentation system for maintenance performed and needed for all company equipment, trailer maintenance, building maintenance and MORE!
The Facilities Maintenance Tech must have or be able to:
- Operate hand and power tools proficiently;
- Have a current/valid driver’s license with a clean MVR and the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card;
- Demonstrate at least 1 year of maintenance experience in a garage and/or manufacturing facility;
- Work OT;
- Move/lift 100 lbs. occasionally and up to 50 lbs. frequently;
- Stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, and twist frequently;
- Work independently with excellent judgement and decision-making skills;
- Have a high awareness of safety for themselves and others;
- Read, write, and speak effectively in English;
- Reliable transportation to work on a daily basis is a MUST!
Additional experience that helps this candidate succeed includes basic computer and math skills, small engine and diesel maintenance/repair, general auto repair/maintenance, holding a CDL A license, operating manual transmission vehicles and equipment, great organizational and time management skills.
