Our Estimating & Drafting team members must be energetic and extremely reliable with a strong work ethic. Job duties include, but are not limited to, excellent communication with both internal personnel & external customers to complete project estimating and drafting. Work is both independent as well as working in a team to provide customer solutions with superior service. Working as a backup for our Production Scheduling & Drafting Manager is also a key part of the role and responsibilities. Start time is typically 7am with some flexibility. A work week can range from 40 to 50 hours based on operational needs.

Our Estimating & Drafter MUST be able to:

• Work OT as needed;
• Communicate well both orally and in writing with all internal team members and external customers (must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English);
• Be proactive, detail oriented, analytical, and highly organized while meeting deadlines;
• Adapt well to changes in a fast-paced environment;
• Operate a computer and applicable software;
• Report to work on time every day. Reliable transportation to work on a daily basis is a MUST!

Prior experience in the construction or concrete industry is highly desired along with experience in basic CAD operation; however, we will work with and train the right candidate with the right attitude and desire to thrive in this role. Once trained, this role requires the ability to read, understand, and follow construction drawings along with understanding math as it relates to construction.
