EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY - DRAFTING TECHNICIAN
Terre Hill Concrete Products is seeking a qualified candidate to join our Precast Drafting & Engineering Department as a full-time drafting technician. Familiarity with civil engineering plans and design is preferred, though we are willing to train a promising and ambitious entry-level candidate. This position is adaptable to suit either an experienced drafter looking for a change in careers or a newcomer who wishes to gain valuable real-world experience in the field of civil drafting and design.
The ideal candidate should possess/be:
- A highly-motivated individual with a desire to learn and assimilate new information and ideas.
- An independent worker who can effectively prioritize daily tasks and meet deadlines.
- Able to effectively communicate with customers, contractors, engineers and coworkers.
- Proficient in AutoCAD design, MS Office applications and general computing.
- An Associate’s Degree in Drafting, Industrial Arts, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
This position is full-time and hourly. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
