You also work a standard 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday schedule with occasional overtime required during peak billing periods.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR HVAC BILLING SPECIALIST
You're a crucial part of our office's success, tackling the important data entry and accounts receivable tasks that keep us in good financial standing. Accuracy and timeliness are crucial as you issue and process invoices, assist the collections team with overdue payments, and help customers resolve billing issues. If any problems arise, you conduct research, investigate discrepancies, and communicate with the relevant departments to take care of the issue.
You also provide invaluable administrative support by managing schedules, booking appointments, and handling other financial or office tasks. Attentively, you maintain employee timekeeping records and support efficient payroll processing. Prioritizing accuracy, you update customer files, complete data entry, and tackle other administrative duties as needed to keep our business successful!
Here's what we need from you:
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and billing or accounting software like Sage or QuickBooks
- Data entry skills
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage time well and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
Billing, accounting, or administrative experience would be preferred. An associate degree in business, accounting, or a similar field would be a bonus!
