Senior Estimator – Commercial

A leading, well-established General Contractor in Ohio is looking to add a Senior Estimator to their growing team in Columbus. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with a strong pipeline of commercial, multifamily, and civil projects across the region.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and prepare detailed cost estimates across commercial, multifamily, and civil construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate take-offs and pricing
- Manage the full estimating process from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission
- Work closely with preconstruction, project management, and leadership teams
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering solutions
- Support project handover to operations teams
What We’re Looking For
- 7 years of estimating experience within commercial, multifamily, or civil construction
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing
- Experience with conceptual estimating and detailed take-offs
- Proficiency with estimating software (Procore, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
