Key Duties:
- Defend municipalities and public entities in a variety of insurance defense and liability matters.
- Handle litigation across New Jersey Superior Court and municipal forums, including motions, depositions, and trials.
- Advise public sector and insurance clients on risk, defense strategy, and compliance matters.
- Collaborate on municipal law and school-related cases, with minimal transactional spillover.
- Build and expand your own book of business while supporting the partner’s established practice, with the potential for succession.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary up to $150K, depending on experience.
- Billable hours: 2000 annually.
- Benefits include medical, dental, and 401(k).
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of municipal defense, public sector defense, or personal injury defense experience.
- Familiarity with New Jersey Superior Court and municipal litigation processes required.
- Bar admission in New Jersey required.
- Flexible work arrangements are considered, though litigation practice is primarily in-person.
