A respected Boston litigation boutique is seeking a mid-level Insurance Defense Associate to join its growing team. With a lean attorney roster and established insurance carrier relationships, the firm offers associates the opportunity to take ownership of cases, work directly with decision-makers, and develop practical litigation skills far earlier than is often possible at larger platforms.

📚 Requirements
• 3–5 years of insurance defense experience
• Experience working within insurance carrier billing guidelines
• Strong understanding of carrier reporting requirements and claims communication
• Experience responding to complaints, handling written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and drafting discovery motions
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and client communication skills
• Massachusetts Bar admission
Additional Details
• Trial or second-chair experience is a plus but not required
• Rhode Island Bar admission is beneficial
• Experience in personal injury defense, professional liability, premises liability, or employment-related defense is welcomed
• Looking for attorneys who can quickly integrate into an established litigation team
