If you’re based outside Atlanta, this role can be fully remote (East Coast), and you do not need to be GA-barred; admission in another East Coast jurisdiction is acceptable (with flexibility to waive in later).
🔥 The Work (What You’ll Actually Do)
- Handle complex first-party property coverage disputes (hurricane, fire, BI, water loss)
- Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights & declination letters
- Work on declaratory judgment actions & nuanced policy interpretation issues
- Manage a lean docket (10–20 files) with real ownership
- Partner closely with senior attorneys on strategy, not just execution
🧠 What They’re Looking For
- 2–5 years in insurance coverage or strong insurance defense with analytical exposure
- Exceptional writing issue-spotting ability
- Someone who enjoys technical, detail-heavy legal work
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Bar Flexibility:
✔ Any East Coast bar accepted
✔ GA not required upfront (flexible to waive later)
