What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Salesperson position at WCTractor?
If you know your way around a parts counter and love helping customers get the right part the first time, this role was built for you. WCTractor is a locally rooted, 15-location tractor dealership, and our Brenham New Holland store is looking for a parts specialist who takes pride in their product knowledge and their customer relationships.
What you'll do:
- Serve walk-in and phone customers at the parts counter with accuracy and a genuine commitment to solving their problem
- Look up and source parts for Kubota, New Holland, and related equipment using dealer catalog systems
- Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and receiving procedures
- Collaborate with the service department to keep technician work orders moving
- Build lasting relationships with the farmers, ranchers, and contractors who count on us
What we're looking for:
- Experience at a parts counter in ag equipment, power sports, automotive, or a related field is strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in a catalog or dealer management system (CDK, Ideal, ADP, or similar)
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
- Detail-oriented and organized, especially under busy counter traffic
- A genuine interest in agriculture, equipment, or the rural lifestyle is a real plus
- Availability for some Saturday mornings (8 AM to Noon) as part of the regular rotation
