Essential Functions
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
Billing, Pricing & Rebates
- Manage national account pricing and rebate programs.
- Process division rebates, including reconciliation, balancing, and maintaining accurate rebate aging records and spreadsheets.
- Resolve issues related to recurring contracts and rebate assignments.
- Request and receive contracts from Mills, Merchandisers, and Account Managers; load pricing accurately and communicate updates to internal business partners.
- Analyze purchase order pricing, current prices, and price increases to ensure proper application in special pricing and costing.
- Execute cost changes for open orders and process forced invoice printing requests as needed.
- Perform moderate to complex billing functions, including reviewing shipping memos and applying freight, parcel post charges, credits, and additional billings.
- Assist Account Managers with account pricing and customer inquiries.
- Maintain customer reseller permits and tax class codes.
- Support customers with pricing questions, quantity changes, and issue resolution.
- Back up receptionist during breaks and meal periods.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
- 1–3 years of billing and/or rebate experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong ten-key and touch-typing skills.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- High level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Customer-service oriented with the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficient in developing and maintaining tracking and reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
