21/21 Rotation (21 days on / 21 days off)

POSITION OVERVIEW – Senior Logistics Specialist – Oil & Gas Operations
An industry-leading company is seeking a highly experienced Logistics Specialist to support drilling, completion, and production operations. This role is responsible for analyzing schedules, coordinating materials, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods and services across departments. The ideal candidate will bring strong oil & gas transportation experience and the ability to manage complex logistics operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze drilling, completion, and production schedules to determine material and resource requirements
• Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, equipment, and information between departments and vendors
• Review and approve production schedules, work orders, and staffing plans to ensure alignment with operational needs
• Monitor workflows and processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards
• Revise schedules as needed based on design changes, labor constraints, or material shortages
• Distribute schedules and communicate priorities across teams
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to resolve delays and improve efficiency
• Track and analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor, and materials
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of logistics activities
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 10 years of related experience required
• 5 years of experience in oil & gas transportation or logistics
• Strong understanding of production scheduling, material planning, and supply chain coordination
• Ability to interpret demand signals and transportation requirements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production
• Leadership or mentoring experience
Additional Requirements:
• Must be able to work a 21/21 rotational schedule
• Must be comfortable working onsite in Midland, TX
• Ability to be on-call after hours as needed
• Must pass standard onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.)
