SCHEDULE
Onsite: Monday – Friday
Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Note: Candidates must be available to train on day shift for the first few days to complete onsite safety orientation

P OSITION OVERVIEW – Biodiesel Operator, Loader I
An industry-leading company is seeking three entry-level Biodiesel Operators to support plant operations within their Transportation & Operations business unit. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build hands-on experience in a refinery/plant environment. The position focuses on monitoring plant operations, maintaining performance, and safely loading/unloading materials. Candidates will work night shift onsite and play a key role in supporting daily production and facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor plant equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Monitor process variables, troubleshoot issues, and perform interventions to maintain optimal performance
• Perform routine operational tasks independently with general supervision on non-routine work
• Load and offload finished products and raw materials from tankers into storage tanks
• Assist with basic operation of pumps and valves
• Follow all safety procedures, policies, and site-specific requirements
• Support general plant operations and maintain clean, organized work areas
• Participate in safety trainings, including hazard awareness and forklift certification (provided onsite)
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 0–2 years of experience (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
• Some experience in a manufacturing, plant, or industrial setting preferred
• Basic knowledge of pumps, valves, or mechanical systems is a plus
• Ability to work night shift onsite consistently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to follow procedures and work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with Chevron policies and practices (nice to have)
• Previous experience in refinery, chemical plant, or industrial operations
• Forklift experience (certification provided onsite if needed)
Additional Requirements:
• Must be local to Danville, IL
• Must have steel-toe boots (additional PPE provided)
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and education verification
• Completion of required onboarding trainings and safety certifications

• 5/40 rotational schedule
• Weekly time reporting
• Minimal travel (0%)
