- Manages the special education needs of students enrolled in Wayzata Kids programs before, during, and after the school day including understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act, 504 plans and special education.
- Works with staff, assists in training and supporting staff, provides collaboration and suggestions and consults with them to ensure accommodations, supports and behavior plans are implemented appropriately.
- Collaborates with parents to ensure all due process timelines and paperwork are completed
- Create and update individual assessments or accommodation plans for students with identified inclusion needs using data gathered from a variety of resources, including parents, teachers, I.E.P.s or 504 plans, or outside provider information
- Monitoring and evaluating employees
