Administrative Professional and Paraprofessional Contract
Position Description:
The person in this position will be responsible for supervising kindergarten students during their lunch and recess (1.0 hour/day), supporting students as a part of a lunchroom paraprofessional team for grades 1-5 (1.5 hours/day), and working with individuals or groups of students in K-5 (1.5 hours/day). The successful candidate will work 4.0 hours a day and have the chance to support the academic and social learning of students. Examples of duties include maintaining a safe, friendly and supportive lunchroom and playground; supervision of an entire classroom; small group work/support; and 1:1 student interaction and assessment.
