This is a unique opportunity to provide essential hearing evaluations and rehabilitation services in an educational setting — without the need to take a Civil Service Exam, thanks to the NY HELPS Program.

As our Audiologist, you’ll work directly with students to assess and monitor hearing, guide auditory rehabilitation, and help shape environments where every learner can succeed. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure that hearing challenges don’t become barriers to growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic hearing evaluations using specialized equipment
- Monitor students with known hearing loss and assess auditory efficiency
- Provide pre- and post-otologic assessments
- Interpret audiometric data in conjunction with educational, medical, and social information
- Deliver in-service trainings and workshops on auditory conservation, hearing aid orientation, and auditory training
- Maintain clear and accurate case records
