Dishwasher/Food Prep

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to support our culinary operations. Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following safety standards in production and food handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of all food prep areas, including counters, sinks, and storage spaces
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques
• Support meal preparation by organizing ingredients and ensuring timely readiness for cooking or serving
• Follow food safety management practices to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
• Help with catering setup and serving when needed, ensuring presentation standards are met
• Adhere to safety standards in the kitchen environment, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Requirements

• Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Experience in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry is highly desirable
• Knowledge of kitchen safety standards, food handling procedures, and food safety regulations is a plus
• Strong knife skills and slicing techniques for food prep tasks
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary operations
• Basic understanding of meal preparation, cooking processes, and food service practices

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
