Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing daily menus in accordance with dietary guidelines and nutritional requirements
- Prepare, cook, and serve meals with attention to food presentation, taste, and safety standards
- Follow strict food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and prevent contamination
- Support kitchen operations by slicing, chopping, and using knife skills efficiently and safely
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces in compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences for residents or customers
- Monitor food storage areas to ensure proper temperature control and inventory management
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary services or food preparation within a healthcare, restaurant, or catering environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments
- Strong culinary skills including menu planning, cooking techniques, and food handling expertise
- Experience with food industry operations such as meal preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance
- Ability to demonstrate knife skills and slicing techniques with precision and safety awareness
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to support collaborative kitchen workflows
