Wausau Tile, a nationally recognized manufacturer of architectural concrete, terrazzo, and metal products, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and support our independent sales representatives across the Eastern U.S. This remote position is open to candidates who currently reside east of the Mississippi River and bring strong experience in construction, architectural products, or building materials.

Your Role: Regional Sales Manager – Industry Experience Required
We’re looking for a strategic sales leader with deep industry knowledge who can coach, develop, and inspire a geographically dispersed team while driving revenue growth across multiple product lines.
Team Leadership & Development

Lead and support 15–20 independent sales reps in the Eastern U.S.

Train, mentor, and reinforce Wausau Tile’s consultative sales process

Promote cross-selling opportunities across all five product divisions

Conduct regular performance coaching and territory development planning
Sales Strategy & Regional Execution

Develop and implement growth-focused sales strategies

Set and monitor performance targets; analyze territory results

Work closely with product and marketing teams to align sales campaigns
Client & Partner Engagement

Foster relationships with key clients, architects, contractors, and specifiers

Provide support in navigating large-scale or complex sales opportunities

Represent Wausau Tile at key industry events and trade shows
Market Intelligence & Collaboration

Monitor regional market trends and competitor activity

Provide insights to leadership and contribute to product development conversations
Qualifications
-
Must reside east of the Mississippi River

5 years of experience in sales and team leadership within the construction or building materials industry

Track record of developing high-performing sales teams

Strong understanding of commercial construction or the A&D space

Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)

Ability and willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%)
