A day in this role
You clock in, join a quick safety huddle, and review the day’s process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs). Then it’s time to work hands-on—operating production equipment and hand tools, organizing your area using our 6-S housekeeping standards, and keeping pace to help the team hit on-time delivery and production goals. You’ll complete training toward ISO 14001 Environmental Certification, inspect castings for defects, and handle materials throughout your shift—sometimes lifting up to 50 pounds. It’s heavy industrial, fast-paced, and incredibly rewarding as you see the results of your work in real time.

What you’ll do
- Follow all safety training, policies, and procedures without compromise
- Use process control documents and DWIs to guide tasks
- Practice 6-S workplace organization to keep areas clean and efficient
- Participate in ISO 14001 Environmental Certification training
- Maintain a steady work pace aligned to production and delivery targets
- Operate hand tools, machines, and production equipment
- Visually inspect iron castings and products for defects
- Manually handle materials and lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable work history and strong attendance
- Clear verbal communication and ability to follow instructions
- Basic problem-solving and a positive, dependable work ethic
- Comfort working both independently and with a team
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and mandatory overtime
