Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
Location: Ogden, UT
Reports to: Quality Manager
Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 ($28.75 - $38.50/hr)

Your Role:
Bring your CWI credential to a fabrication team that takes quality seriously. You’ll own weld inspection and documentation from fit-up through final, making sure every piece of fabricated material meets code and specification before it leaves the shop.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct in-process and final weld inspections and document findings in detailed reports
- Confirm weld quality meets company standards, project specs, and AWS D1.1
- Hold employees and departments to company procedures and industry standards
- Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate issues for correction
- Serve as a quality resource for welders and fabricators on the shop floor
What You’ll Bring:
- Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential
- 2–3 years of experience in welding or a related field
- Solid working knowledge of AWS D1.1
- Passed Jaeger J1 visual acuity exam; high school diploma or equivalent
- Detail-focused and organized, with strong math and data entry skills
- Clear communicator, comfortable with computers, and open to overtime
