What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Metal Fabricator position at Baer Welding, Inc.?
Baer Welding is a family-owned welding and fabrication shop. What started out as a small, local business is now a company that has done work all over the nation. We are known for our integrity and high-quality work. We are looking for a talented and motivated fabricator with experience in ornamental metal fabrication both ferrous and non-ferrous, who has great work ethic, strong blueprint reading skills, takes pride in their work, and who has the ability to also install. The ideal candidate is someone who does not require training, who can work independently in a fast paced work environment. Weld Certifications are a plus but not a requirement. We are requiring applicants to have actual experience. We are not looking for someone who can 'weld'. This position is for a talented fabricator/installer only, who has hands on experience with ornamental fabrication and installation (complex railing systems, stairs, both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and glass). Starting pay is $22-$30 per hour depending on experience, with room for career advancement. Baer Welding encourages professional development and compensates high performers.
