We’re on the search for a Director, Business Development on behalf of our client, a leader in the transportation industry. If you have 5–10 years of progressive business development and sales leadership experience, preferably within asset-based environments, this may be an opportunity for you.
The Director, Business Development will be a critical member of the leadership team, responsible for building and scaling a best-in-class sales function that supports the company’s aggressive growth objectives.
This leader will carry a personal sales quota while simultaneously leading the existing sales team and designing the structure, processes, tools, and talent strategy required to create a repeatable and scalable sales engine.
This role requires a hands-on, process-oriented sales builder who thrives in a relationship-driven, asset-based environment and aligns with the service-first, values-led philosophy. The successful candidate will balance discipline and growth, analytics and intuition, technology and personal connection.
This position operates in-office, with a strong emphasis on relationship building with customers in the field.
