Responsibilities
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to support various construction activities
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and finishing
- Support rebar installation, concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to ensure structural integrity
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to aid in accurate project execution
- Perform demolition, renovation, restoration, and site cleanup to prepare for ongoing work
- Support masonry, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and other finishing trades as needed
- Use heavy equipment such as concrete mixers and pumps under supervision to facilitate concrete placement
Requirements
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of various trades including carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), roofing, masonry, welding, plastering, caulking, metal stud framing, and tile laying
- Capable of performing heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout the workday
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience is a plus for site transportation needs
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and teamwork in fast-paced environments
