Work hands-on with the maintenance staff and not be afraid to get your hands dirty Assign, review and ensure proper completion of repair orders by all technicians, this will be done daily utilizing RTA and other tracking methods. Trains and assists Mechanics on methods for diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment. Work with maintenance manager to provide daily communications to operations on down equipment and operational needs. Promote collaboration between and among personnel. Communicates regularly with the District Maintenance Manager and all shop personnel, daily documented tailgates. Assists in monthly financial projections and annual budget responsibility will be assigned for certain lines of spending. Perform quality control inspection and work observations. Ensures adherence to the corporate safety program. Knowledge and Skills: Must have excellent working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance techniques. Experience with heavy equipment and yellowiron is a plus Post-collections waste experience is a plus Must have ability to motivate staff to meet corp., region, division, and district objectives. Must have excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills. Requirements: 3 years mechanic experience with equipment maintenance and repair. (Waste industry experience desired) Ability to train and motivate staff a must. Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Valid drivers license 🚛 We Keep Our Promises!
