What are the responsibilities and job description for the AP/AR Specialist position at Washington Metal Fabricators?
We are seeking an AP/AR Specialist to join our team and support accurate, efficient accounting operations.
What You’ll Do
- Process vendor invoices, match to POs, and schedule payments
- Maintain vendor records and reconcile statements
- Prepare and send customer invoices, apply payments, and manage AR aging
- Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Assist with month-end close, reporting, and audits
- Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and operations teams
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years AP/AR experience (manufacturing preferred)
- ERP/MRP system experience (JobBOSS² or similar a plus)
- Strong Excel and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
