ACCOUNTING: A/P
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable using QuickBooks Online
- Ensure all payments, payroll, and bills are processed accurately and on time in compliance with company policies and requirements
- Process due invoices for payment and maintain proper documentation
- Perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, reconciliations, and recording journal entries
- Enter invoice information into the accounting system for payment processing
- Prepare and process electronic payments, checks, and credit card transactions
- Generate invoices and follow up with vendors or clients as needed
- Prepare monthly financial statements and project-based reports for management review
- Handle and resolve payment discrepancies or issues promptly
- Maintain vendor records and communicate with vendors regarding billing or payment inquiries
- Assist with audits by providing accurate accounts payable documentation and reports
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and flag overdue items
- Process employee payroll accurately and on schedule
- Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounts payable operations
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge in accounting practices and principles
- Strong knowledge in accounts payables processes and procedures
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to accuracy and detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
