Car Wash Associate/ Loader: Team Member – Vehicle Loading
About the Role
Wash King Car Wash is looking for a dependable and customer-focused Car Wash Team Member to join our tunnel operations team. In this position, you'll help create a smooth and safe experience from the moment a customer arrives at the entrance of the wash tunnel.
You'll be responsible for assisting drivers, positioning vehicles correctly on the conveyor, maintaining proper spacing, and communicating clear instructions throughout the loading process. This is an active, hands-on position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently during busy periods.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers and provide helpful, courteous service as they approach the wash entrance.
- Direct drivers into the correct loading position using established safety signals and procedures.
- Check that vehicles are properly aligned and centered before they are placed onto the conveyor.
- Explain the steps customers need to follow before the vehicle enters the tunnel, including:
- Shift the vehicle into Neutral
- Release the brake
- Keep hands away from the steering wheel after the conveyor begins moving
- Fold side mirrors inward when appropriate
- Look over vehicles as they approach the entrance and identify circumstances that may require additional care or direction.
- Confirm that the vehicle is ready before activating the conveyor through the loading tablet.
- Press "Send" on the tablet once the vehicle has been safely positioned.
- Maintain appropriate vehicle intervals to help prevent congestion and keep the tunnel moving.
- Communicate with other team members when assistance or special attention is needed.
- Follow all company procedures related to customer service, tunnel operations, and workplace safety.

Training is provided, so previous car wash experience is not required.

This role can be a starting point for additional opportunities within Wash King Car Wash. Team members who consistently demonstrate reliability, strong customer interaction skills, and an ability to support sales may be considered for advancement to Kiosk Sales Attendant.
In the kiosk position, you'll work directly with customers to recommend wash options, introduce the benefits of the Unlimited Wash Club, and help customers enroll in memberships. Eligible team members can also earn performance-based incentives tied to monthly membership sales.
