At Wash King Car Wash, our Loaders play a critical role in delivering a safe, efficient, and outstanding wash experience for every customer. As the first team member customers interact with before entering the wash tunnel, you'll be responsible for safely guiding vehicles onto the conveyor, communicating clearly with drivers, and ensuring every vehicle is properly positioned before entering the wash.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Safely guide vehicles onto the conveyor using proper hand signals and loading procedures.
- Ensure each vehicle is straight and centered before engaging the conveyor.
Clearly instruct customers to:
- Place their vehicle in Neutral
- Remove their foot from the brake
- Keep both hands off the steering wheel once the conveyor engages
- Fold in side mirrors when necessary
- Verify each vehicle is safe to enter the wash and identify any conditions that may require special attention.
- Use the loading tablet to start the conveyor by pressing "Send" once the vehicle is properly positioned.
- Monitor vehicle spacing to maintain a safe and efficient flow through the wash tunnel.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain alert and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout an entire shift.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Previous customer service or car wash experience is preferred but not required—we provide on-the-job training.
