Responsibilities
- Supervise front-of-house operations, including dining area, bar, and reception to ensure smooth service flow.
- Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to enhance team performance.
- Manage shift schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and oversee daily staffing needs to meet business demands.
- Ensure all food handling, preparation, and service adhere to food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Oversee inventory control processes for supplies, beverages, and food items to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Collaborate with kitchen management on food production, catering orders, and special event setups like banquets.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area in compliance with health codes.
- Support staff training on food safety procedures, hospitality standards, and operational protocols to foster a high-performance team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management with supervising responsibilities in quick service or casual dining environments.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, interviewing, and team management.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety regulations.
- Background in managing inventory control, budgeting, and cost control measures within a hospitality setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Previous experience in fine dining or hotel food service environments is highly desirable.
