Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Follow proper SOPs for Accounts Payable, including triple verification against POs and shipping documents.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and support month-end close
- Monitor and ensure the accuracy of financial data in QuickBooks
- Support Accountant with audits, budgeting, financial statements and forecasting tasks as needed
- Maintain filing systems and organize financial documents
- Assist in preparing documentation for taxes and compliance reporting
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure invoices are accurate
- Assist in various clerical or office duties as needed

Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of bookkeeping experience in a business setting
- Strong working knowledge of bookkeeping principles and GAAP
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with payroll and general ledger functions
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience in the defense industry
- Familiarity with Epicor Kinetic or similar ERP systems
