Customer Service Associate (Part-Time or Full-Time)
Hinkamp Jewelers is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate.
As a locally owned, family-operated jewelry store, we have proudly served our community since 1955. For over 70 years, our company has built its reputation on jewelry expertise, integrity, and exceptional customer service through two generations of the Hinkamp family.
Position Details
- Part-Time or Full-Time Opportunities Available
- Store Hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No evening or night shifts
- Occasional Saturday shifts required
- Pay: $12–$15 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a warm and professional manner
- Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries
- Process sales and payments
- Assist with jewelry intake and pickup procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom
- Support daily store operations and administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Retail experience preferred, but not required
- Willingness to learn about jewelry and our products
