Key Responsibilities:
- Handle behavior referrals and support teachers on developing behavior interventions
- Manage detention and student reflection
- Run, analyze, report, and train teachers on student culture data and goal setting
- Oversee daily supervision of scholar activities including arrival, lunch, dismissal, transitions, etc.
- Motivate students toward high success and achievement
- Actively contribute to positive adult culture across school site, including diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts
- Promptly informs parents of escalated behavior problems, and also updates parents on good news
- Compile, analyze, and share student discipline data regularly, and use that data to make decisions
- Learn and be able to communicate specific areas of the Code of Conduct
- Help students set goals, self-assess, and know where they stand behaviorally at all times
- Assist in student supervision throughout the school day, especially during peak periods
- Assists in taking all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students
- Make round with Culture/Security team members to get a dynamic view of the school environment
- Record and document daily interventions used for each student
- Be prepared to work within a diverse population
- Be available and flexible to perform other duties assigned

Requirements
- At least five years of experience working in Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- A proven track record of success working with students and families
- Strong understanding of federal and state special education rules, regulations, and practices and how they relate to discipline
- CPI certification required
