Instructional Coaching & Support
- Observe classroom instruction and provide actionable, non-evaluative feedback.
- Support teachers with lesson planning, pacing, and effective use of instructional materials.
- Facilitate Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) focused on instructional strategies, lesson internalization, and student work analysis.
- Model effective instructional strategies through demonstration lessons and co-teaching.
Data & Assessment
- Guide teachers in analyzing student performance data from formative, interim, and state assessments.
- Support teachers in identifying students for intervention and progress monitoring.
- Assist with development and use of student data trackers.
- Coordinate, run, and validate quarterly benchmark testing, ensuring data accuracy and fidelity of test administration.
Professional Learning
- Conduct individualized coaching cycles aligned to teacher goals and school priorities.
- Maintain coaching logs to document support, progress, and next steps.
- Design and deliver professional development aligned to the Louisiana Educator Leader Rubric and school initiatives.
Collaboration & Alignment
- Partner with Department Chairs to align coaching support with departmental goals.
- Share instructional trends and needs with the Curriculum & Instruction Coordinator.
- Collaborate with school leadership to ensure instructional practices are consistent with academic priorities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
- Valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate with Louisiana Certification Preferred
- Track record dramatically improving academic outcomes for students;
- Strong instructional background, preferably as a curriculum designer, school leader, or design consultant;
- At least two years of instructional coaching experience and/or proven ability to lead adults to achieve goals;
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with school staff and administrative teams;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
