Warner Norcross Judd is seeking a Revenue Manager to join our team in Grand Rapids. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely invoicing and efficient collections. By monitoring billing processes, resolving discrepancies, and improving collections performance, this role helps maintain strong client relationships and ensures the revenues cycle runs smoothly and predictably. The Revenue Manager also manages staff performance within the billing and collections teams, develops and maintains excellent relationships with clients and billing attorneys, and communicates effectively with finance leadership.
About the Opportunity
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the client billing team to ensure invoices are processed in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
- Oversee the client billing cycle, including time entry review, pre-bill management, billing adjustments, invoicing, and write-offs.
- Serve as a key point of contact for attorneys and clients regarding billing policies, procedures, and issue resolution.
- Manage and ensure compliance with client-specific billing requirements, including e-billing platforms and outside counsel guidelines.
- Review and approve complex or high-value billing matters to ensure accuracy and adherence to firm and client standards.
- Oversee maintenance of the firm's electronic billing systems and client billing instruction database.
- Collaborate with attorneys, practice groups, and the finance team to enhance billing efficiency and support revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain reporting and analytics to monitor billing performance, identify trends, and support firm leadership with financial insight.
- Establish, document, and refine billing policies, procedures, and quality control measures.
- Partner with the collections team to support timely payment of client invoices and improve cash flow,
- Maintain a future-focused mindset in implementing and utilizing technology advancements.

The physical demands of this potion are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. These include being both mobile and stationary throughout the workday, having the ability to transport 25 pounds and being able to operate a computer and other business equipment found in the office.
Competencies:
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Experience with legal billing systems (e.g., Elite, Aderant) and e-billing platforms.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Proven ability to improve processes and ensure billing accuracy and efficiency.
About You
Experience, Education and Training:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of billing or accounting experience, including at least 2-3 years in a supervisory of management role. Prior law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred.
