Warner Norcross Judd is seeking a Staffing and Integration Coordinator to support the firm's Human Resources and Talent Development teams in Grand Rapids. This role will oversee the recruitment of new administrative staff and ensuring seamless onboarding and integration of new firm members. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and people-focused and is committed to providing consistent, high-quality experiences for candidates, internal hiring managers, and new firm members.
About the Opportunity
Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with leadership across departments and administrative teams to assess staffing needs and implement consistent, effective hiring practices.
• Execute the full-cycle recruitment process for the Firm's administrative roles, including job requisition, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Champion a positive experience for all stakeholders in the hiring process by ensuring equitable and inclusive practices, clear and timely communication, and consistency across all stages.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring teams, coaching them on interviewing, candidate evaluation, and best practices for selection.
• Partner with Marketing to promote the Firm as an employer of choice, enhancing visibility through social media, professional networks, and industry associations.
• Build relationships with local schools, universities, and professional organizations to support pipeline development for administrative roles
• Assist with the development and implementation of a comprehensive integration process for new firm members, including:
Clarifying how their role contributes to the Firm's mission and strategic goals
Facilitating relationship-building
Explaining workflows, processes, systems, policies, and expectations
Fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion, an
Guiding them towards proficiency and performance readiness
Conduct regular check-ins with new firm members and gather feedback from new firm
members and hiring teams to ensure engagement, address challenges, and continuously refine
integration practices
• Lead the Firm's new firm member resource group and lateral attorney resource group to promote community, connection, and retention among members of these groups.
• Partner with other members of the Talent Development and Human Resources teams to develop and implement a firm-wide mentoring program for new administrative staff members and ensure smooth handoffs into performance management, professional development, and engagement initiatives.
• Utilize HR systems and recruitment technologies such as HRIS and ATS to streamline the hiring and integration processes, track activity, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Generate and analyze reports on recruitment and retention metrics, performance trends, and training outcomes to identify gaps, measure outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain organized, accessible records related to recruitment and integration activities in accordance with internal policies and external requirements.
• Ensure talent acquisition and onboarding practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws as well as Firm policies, while integrating best practices in DEI and belonging.
• Stay informed about trends talent acquisition, onboarding, integration, and retention to recommend and implement process enhancements.
• Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned.

About You
Experience, Education and Training
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or another business-related field
• Three to five years of previous experience in talent acquisition or recruiting.
• Additional HR experience, specifically in areas such as compliance, employment law, compensation, and benefits, a plus.
• Experience in a professional services environment highly preferred.
• Experience designing, facilitation, or supporting onboarding and integration programs preferred.
• SHRM-CP certification a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Zoom.
• Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, and candidate sourcing platforms (e.g., Handshake, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end employee lifecycle processes.
• Proven ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of an organization and foster collaboration across teams.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
